NHL: Phoenix 4, Nashville 3 (OT)

GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Radim Vrbata had a hat trick and Zbynek Michalek's scored with 29 seconds left in overtime Thursday to give Phoenix a 4-3 win over Nashville.

It was Vrbata's third career hat trick and he also assisted on Michalek's game-winner. Ilya Bryzgalov made 29 saves in the Coyotes' second straight win.

Nashville had a three-game winning streak snapped. Rich Peverley scored his first NHL goal for the Predators and J.P. Dumont ran his franchise-record points streak to 14 games by recording an assist.

With time running down in the overtime, Michalek entered the Nashville zone at full speed and fired a shot that slipped between the pads of Chris Mason.
