NHL: Calgary 2, Minnesota 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves Tuesday as the Calgary Flames posted a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

Stephane Yelle had a goal and an assist, and Craig Conroy also scored for the Flames, who have won three in a row.

Brian Rolston scored the lone goal and Josh Harding made 35 saves for the Wild, who have lost three of their last four games.

With the score tied at 1-1 in the third period, Calgary took the lead at the 8:36 mark when Conroy wristed a backhander into the right corner of the net for his eighth goal of the season.
