UNIONDALE, N.Y., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- The Carolina Hurricanes came from behind and beat the New York Islanders 3-2 Monday on an overtime goal by Cory Stillman
Stillman took a pass from Eric Staal on a power play and knocked in the winner 52 seconds into the extra session.

Mike Commodore and Niclas Wallin got the other goals for Carolina, which trailed 2-0 after two periods.
Andy Hilbert and Miroslav Satan scored for the Islanders, who have lost seven of their last 10 games.
