BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Indiana freshman Eric Gordon scored 25 points Sunday, helping the No. 10 Hoosiers defeat Penn State 81-65.

D.J. White added 22 points for Indiana (16-1, 5-0 Big Ten), which has won 12 straight games.

Armon Bassett hit five of six three-point shots for the Hoosiers, ending up with 17 points.

Talor Battle scored 20 points and Jamelle Cornley 19 for the Nittany Lions (10-7, 2-3).
