CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Richard Hamilton scored 26 points and hit a go-ahead jumper with 16.2 seconds left in overtime Saturday to lead the Detroit Pistons past Charlotte 103-100.
Hamilton, who had eight assists and seven rebounds, also had a pair of free throws in the closing seconds.
Gerald Wallace had 26 points for Charlotte, which has lost five of its last seven games. Jason Richardson added 20 points and eight assists; Emeka Okafor and Nazr Mohammed each had 19 points. Okafor and Mohammed added 15 and 13 rebounds, respectively.
