COLUMBIA, S.C., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- JaJuan Smith led ninth-ranked Tennessee with 15 points and eight rebounds Saturday as the Vols won for the ninth straight time, 80-56 over South Carolina.

Tennessee (14-1, 2-0 SEC) out-rebounded the Gamecocks 43-31 and forced 17 turnovers.

Devan Downey had 24 points to lead South Carolina (8-8, 0-2), which was unable to cope with Tennessee's depth in the second half.
