CORVALLIS, Ore., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Lawrence Hill led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points Thursday, helping lift No. 23 Stanford to a 66-46 win over Oregon State.
Brook Lopez and Anthony Goods both scored 12 points for Stanford, which won for the ninth time in 10 games. The Cardinal improved to 13-2 for the year and 2-1 in the Pac-10 Conference.
Oregon State (6-9, 0-3) was paced by Oman Johnson with 11. The Beavers have lost five in a row.
Stanford went on an 18-4 run to open the game, fueled by three-pointers from Goods and Hill. The Cardinal rolled to a 39-20 halftime advantage and Oregon State came no closer than 15 during the second period.
The Beavers shot only 30 percent from the field in losing to Stanford for the 16th time in 17 meetings.
