NHL: Nashville 7, Los Angeles 0

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- J.P. Dumont, scoring in his sixth straight game, led a swarming Nashville Predators offense that buried the Los Angeles Kings 7-0 Tuesday.

Chris Mason stopped 28 shots to notch his 10th career shutout.

Besides Dumont, Nashville got goals from Darcy Hordichuk, Jason Arnott, David Legwand, Scot Nichol, Martin Erat and Jed Ortmeyer. Their offensive punch allowed Nashville to win for the fourth time in five games.

Jason LaBarbera was pulled after a three-goal surge on seven Predator shots in the first period. The Kings, who have lost three straight, then stuck Jean Sebastian Aubin in net. He gave up the next four goals, while making 18 saves.
