PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Taylor King touched off a first-half run Wednesday that ignited seventh-ranked Duke to a 74-64 decision over Temple.
In their final tune-up prior to the start of conference play, the Blue Devils got 15 points from King, and 13 each from DeMarcus Nelson and Greg Paulus.

Duke had an 18-16 lead when it went on a 12-0 outburst. King began the run with a three-point shot and Nelson finished it with a layup.
The Blue Devils (12-1) will begin action in the Atlantic Coast Conference Sunday against Virginia.
Temple (6-7) was led by Dionte Christmas with 23 points. The Owls open their Atlantic 10 Conference season against Charlotte Saturday.
