NBA: Charlotte 115, New Jersey 99

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson scored 25 points Tuesday, bringing the Charlotte Bobcats to a 115-99 victory over the New Jersey Nets.

Gerald Wallace added 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Emeka Okafor 17 points for the Bobcats, who shot 58.7 percent from the floor to snap a three-game losing streak.

Charlotte also got 17 points from Raymond Felton, and Nazr Mohammed and 10 points and seven rebounds from Matt Carroll.

New Jersey's Jason Kidd had 13 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds for his eighth triple-double this season -- his third in a row -- and the 97th of his career. No player had recorded triple-doubles in three consecutive games since Grant Hill with Detroit in 1997.

Richard Jefferson scored 25 points and Vince Carter 17 for the Nets.
