NHL: Philadelphia 3, Toronto 2

TORONTO, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Mike Richards' power-play goal with 2:51 to play Saturday led the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-2 win over Toronto.

After Maple Leafs goalie Andrew Raycroft turned away a shot by Mike Knuble, Richards picked up the rebound and put the game-winner into the net.

Steve Downie and Jeff Carter scored the other Philadelphia goals and Antero Niittymaki came up with 54 saves for the Flyers, who won for the fourth time in their last five games.

Mats Sundin scored both goals and Raycroft finished with 29 saves for the Maple Leafs, who have lost five of their last six.
