Redman, Rolle, Hester take NFC awards

NEW YORK, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Atlanta quarterback Chris Redman, Arizona cornerback Antrel Rolle and Chicago kick-return ace Devin Hester were honored as the NFC's players of the week.

Redman was named top offensive player Wednesday for tossing four touchdown passes to help the Falcons beat Seattle 44-41.

Rolle had two interceptions, returning one 47 yards for a touchdown, in his team's 48-19 win over St. Louis.

Pro Bowler Hester returned a punt 64 yards for one Bears' touchdown and scored another on a 55-yard pass reception in a 33-25 victory over New Orleans. Hester returned six kicks for touchdowns this season.
