NEW YORK, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- A career-best 32 points from John Salmons Wednesday lifted Sacramento to a 107-97 decision over New York.
The Kings halted a four-game losing streak with Brad Miller adding 26 points and Francisco Garcia 22.

New York, which lost its fifth in a row, was led by 24 from Eddy Curry and 19 from Nate Robinson.
An 11-0 run in the second quarter helped Sacramento build as much as an 18-point lead before halftime. That advantage grew to 21 in the third period and the Knicks came no closer than eight down the stretch. Sacramento has beaten the Knicks in seven of their last nine meetings.
