NBA: Milwaukee 103, Miami 98

MIAMI, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Mo Williams scored 25 points Wednesday and Milwaukee held off a late charge to defeat Miami 103-98.

It was Milwaukee's third road win of the season and its first since Dec. 4.

The Bucks, who had dropped their previous four games, got 15 points from Charlie Villanueva and 13 from Andrew Bogut.

Miami, playing without Shaquille O'Neal for the third straight game, has lost five in a row. O'Neal has a sore left hip.

Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 27 points and Ricky Davis had 23.

Milwaukee opened the fourth quarter with nine straight points to take an 80-67 lead. Miami got within five with 28 seconds left, but could pull no closer.
