NFL: Atlanta 44, Seattle 41

ATLANTA, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Chris Redman threw for 251 yards and a career-high four touchdowns Sunday to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 44-41 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

Redman, who hit Alge Crumpler for two scores, completed 17 of 27 passes for the Falcons (4-12), who won for the first time in six games.

Warrick Dunn gained 70 yards rushing and a score and caught two passes for 10 yards to become the seventh player in NFL history to rush for 10,000 yards and have 4,000 receiving yards in a career.

Matt Hasselbeck was just 15 of 25 passing for 147 yards and a touchdown for Seattle (10-6), which lost for the second time in its last eight games.

Seneca Wallace took over for Hasselbeck in the second half and completed 17 of 22 passes for 206 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
