Owens out, Glenn in for Cowboys Sunday

IRVING, Texas, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- Dallas receiver Terrell Owens is not expected to play Sunday against Washington, but the Cowboys could have Terry Glenn for the first time this season.

Glenn practiced this week and will seek his first game action since he underwent two arthroscopic surgeries in September to repair cartilage damage to his right knee. Glenn also had a cyst removed.

Owens suffered a high ankle sprain Saturday against Carolina and missed the second half of the Cowboys' 20-13 victory. Dallas has already clinched the top seed in the NFC playoffs and have a bye week in the playoffs, giving Owens more time to heal.

The Redskins need a win on Sunday at home to reach the postseason. When they met last month in Dallas, the Cowboys won 28-23.

Glenn, 33, had consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons with the Cowboys prior to this year.
