AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Derick Nelson had 22 points and nine rebounds Saturday to lead the Oakland Golden Grizzlies to a 68-62 win over the 21st-ranked Oregon Ducks.

Johnathon Jones and Erik Kangas each added 12 points for the Golden Grizzlies (6-6), who defeated a ranked opponent for the first time in school history.

Joevan Catron and Malik Hairston each had 15 points for the Ducks (8-3), who have lost their last two games.
