ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Jay Haas was voted his second consecutive Champions Tour Player of the Year Award, PGA officials said Tuesday.
Haas won four Champions Tour tournaments in 2007 and also picked up his second consecutive Arnold Palmer Award as the tour's leading money winner. He collected nearly $2.6 million in purses this year.

The vote by professional golfers also selected Denis Watson, who won the Senior PGA Championship, as the Champions Tour rookie of the year.
R.W. Eaks, who won two tournaments and was sixth on the money list, was voted the comeback player of the year on the tour for players 50 years and older.
