OMAHA, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- University of Nebraska head strength coach Dave Kennedy, who has been with the Cornhuskers since 2004, has resigned from his post.
His leaving comes less than two months after Athletic Director Steve Pederson was fired and just two weeks after football coach Bill Callahan was let go as well, The Lincoln (Neb.) Journal Star reported Monday.
The Cornhusker football program went 27-22 in Kennedy's time as head strength coach.
He took some heat from fans after the defensive line was pushed around on a weekly basis last season. The team finished 116th out of 119 teams in rushing defense.
Nebraska has one one of the top strength programs in the country for many years.
