NFL: San Diego 23, Tennessee 17

NASHVILLE, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- LaDainian Tomlinson scored in overtime Sunday to help the San Diego Chargers beat Tennessee 23-17.

Tomlinson finished with 146 yards and the score on 26 carries for the Chargers (8-5), who have won three straight.

Philip Rivers threw for 228 yards on 21-of-40 passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions, but left the game in the second quarter with an apparent knee injury. He later returned to finish the game.

Vince Young struggled for Tennessee, completing just 13 of 21 passes for 121 yards in the loss.

LenDale White rushed for 113 yards and a score for the Titans (7-6), who have lost four of five.
