NHL: Pittsburgh 4, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby assisted on three of Pittsburgh's four third-period goals Wednesday, boosting the Penguins to a 4-2 decision over Edmonton.

Dwayne Roloson made 27 saves for the Oilers, but he faded under the third-period onslaught that brought the Penguins their fifth win in six games.

Edmonton had a three-game winning streak halted.

After the Oilers built a 2-0 lead through two periods on goals by Shawn Horcoff and Robert Nilsson, Maxime Talbot began the Pittsburgh comeback by scoring with a rebound 6:05 into the third.

The Penguins tied it 21 seconds later when Kris Letang collected a pass from Crosby and scored on a wrist shot.

Colby Armstrong put Pittsburgh in front with 9:03 to play on a tip-in and Ryan Whitney one-timed a pass from Crosby on the power play with 6:30 left.
