NBA: Houston 105, Memphis 92

HOUSTON, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Tracy McGrady's triple-double -- 17 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists -- Wednesday led Houston to a 105-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Houston turned the game into a laugher with a 31-22 second period, which led to 55-42 halftime advantage.

Memphis never really threatened in the final two periods.

Yao Ming added 24 points, 13 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Rockets, while Bonzie Wells had 24 points and seven rebounds.

Reserve Luis Scola scored 16 points, and Shane Battier had 13 points, three rebounds and three blocks for the Rockets, who stopped a two-game skid.

Houston's last triple-double came from Steve Francis (13 points, 11 boards, and 12 assists) against Golden State March 21, 2003.

Memphis was led by Pao Gasol's 23 points and 12 rebounds. Damon Stoudamire chipped in 19 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Rudy Gay added 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Mike Miller recorded 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Grizzlies, who have dropped two straight.
