Since the beginning of the 1999-2000 season, Anaheim has won in Edmonton just once in 15 tries.
The teams battled to a 1-1 draw through one period and it appeared the score would be unchanged at the end of the second.
But with 37 seconds left in the period, Horcoff scored on a slap shot that got past Jean-Sebastien Giguere. Brodziak scored moments later to give the Oilers a 3-1 lead going into the final period, and they added goals by Andrew Cogliano and Steve Staios to put the game away.
Giguere was eventually removed after giving up four goals on 23 shots.
Ryan Getzlaf scored Anaheim's only goal, which tied it at 1-1 late in the first period.
