VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Roberto Luongo extended his shutout streak to almost 200 minutes Thursday night as the Vancouver Canucks blanked Columbus, 2-0.
Luongo recorded his fourth shutout of the season and the 19th of his career by stopping 25 shots.
His scoreless streak has reached 195 minutes, 19 seconds. He has not allowed a goal since Nov. 23 at St. Louis.
Vancouver won for the sixth time in eight games, producing both its goals in the second period.
Mattias Ohlund tipped the puck past Fredrik Norrena 4:05 into the period and Lukas Krajicek scored with 7:40 left.
Markus Naslund was held off the score sheet, leaving him one point shy of Vancouver's career record. He has 723 points in 826 games with the Canucks.
