NBA: Philadelphia 85, Washington 84

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Samuel Dalembert scored 19 points and keyed a late six-point run Friday night as the Philadelphia 76ers fought off Washington 85-84.

A three-point attempt by Washington's Nick Young at the buzzer bounced off the rim.

The game was tied with just over three minutes to go when the 76ers ran off their six straight points -- four of them coming from Dalembert.

After Caron Butler brought Washington within three with a long-range shot 63 seconds from the end of the fourth period, Dalembert made one of two free throws for a four-point Sixers advantage.

Butler hit another three with 31 seconds to go and the Wizards got the ball back when Andre Iguodala missed his 16th straight shot.

Young, however, could not hit what would have been the game-winning basket.

Andre Miller added 18 points for Philadelphia. Butler scored 20, but the Wizards dropped their fourth game out of five.
