NHL: Los Angeles 3, San Jose 2 (SO)

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Dustin Brown finished off a perfect Los Angeles shootout Wednesday as the Kings won for the second time in eight games, 3-2 over San Jose.

Patrick O'Sullivan and Anze Kopitar also scored shootout goals for Los Angeles against Evgeni Nabokov, who had stopped 28 of 30 shots in regulation.

Los Angeles ended a five-game road trip by handing the Sharks their third straight setback.

Jeremy Roenick and Joe Pavelski scored for San Jose in the shootout, but the Kings' Jason LaBarbera was able to stop a shot by Milan Michalek.

Kopitar and O'Sullivan also scored during the second period as the Kings overcame a 1-0 deficit. But Craig Rivet produced a power-play goal to tie it 3:41 into the third.
