NEW YORK, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Dallas Mavericks Coach Avery Johnson was fined $25,000 by the NBA Monday for his actions during a loss to the Indiana Pacers Friday.
NBA Executive Vice President Stu Jackson said Avery was fined for failing to leave the court in a timely fashion and verbally abusing a game official.

The incident occurred with 8:34 remaining in the game, which Indiana won 111-107.
