NHL:Carolina 4, Tampa Bay 3

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Carolina came from behind with three goals in the third period Friday and snapped a six-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Glen Wesley, Eric Staal, Ray Whitney and Justin Williams scored goals for the Panthers and Cam Ward had 25 saves.

Paul Ranger, Vinny Prospal and Vincent Lecavalier scored for the Lightning. Johan Holmqvist made 18 saves.

Tampa Bay has lost three straight games.
