NBA: Golden State 108, New York 82

NEW YORK, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Baron Davis scored 31 points Tuesday, pacing the Golden State Warriors' 108-82 victory over the New York Knicks.

Stephon Marbury returned to the New York starting lineup and led the Knicks with 18 points, but couldn't stop the Warriors from sending New York to its seventh straight loss. His start came after spending the last three games coming off the bench. Marbury left the team for one game after learning of his demotion.

The Warriors got their third straight win after losing six straight to start the season. Stephen Jackson had 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Golden State, and Mickael Pietrus had 16 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Zach Randolph had 16 rebounds and 15 points for the Knicks. Jamal Crawford scored 15 points.

New York turned the ball over a season-high 29 times.
