NHL: Florida 4, Washington 3

WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen scored two goals Monday as the Florida Panthers posted a 4-3 victory over the Washington Capitals.

David Booth and Kamil Kreps each scored in the first period. Jozef Stumpel and Richard Zednik each assisted on two goals. Florida goalie Tomas Vokoun made 27 saves.

Chris Clark, Brooks Laich and Alexander Semin all scored for the Capitals, who have lost four in a row and eight of their last nine games. Olaf Kolzig stopped 22 shots.

Florida's last previous win, on Nov. 15, also came against Washington.

Washington entered the third period down two goals and trailed by three after Jokinen's second goal.
