ATLANTA, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant hit a three-point shot as the buzzer sounded in the second overtime Friday night, lifting the Seattle SuperSonics over Atlanta, 126-123.
It was Seattle's second straight win after a season-opening eight straight losses.
It was Seattle's eighth straight victory over Atlanta.
Childress had a chance to win it at the end of regulation, but he managed only one of two free throws with four seconds to play.
Wilkins hit a shot with 23 seconds left in the first overtime that tied it at 114-114.
Seattle led at the half by 13 and Atlanta got back into it with an 11-1 run in the third quarter.
