NBA: Miami 91, New Jersey 87

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade scored his team's last four points Saturday night to help the Miami Heat slip past the New Jersey Nets, 91-87.

Miami led, 45-35, at halftime by out-scoring New Jersey, 27-12, in the second quarter, but New Jersey opened the third with an 18-11 spurt and came within 56-53 at the 3:55 mark. The contest then was close until the end.

Wade led Miami with 23 points, nine assists, six rebounds and four steals. Shaquille O'Neal had 18 points and five rebounds.

Penny Hardaway scored 16 points, while Alonzo Mourning and Daequan Cook scored 10 apiece for the Heat, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

New Jersey got 22 points and eight rebounds from Sean Williams. Richard Jefferson scored 18 points.

Jason Kidd had 16 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds, but committed seven turnovers. Antoine Wright added 14 points, six assists and six rebounds, as the Nets suffered their fifth loss in a row.
