NBA: Charlotte 100, Seattle 84

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace scored 27 points Saturday night as the Charlotte Bobcats trimmed the Seattle SuperSonics, 100-84.

Seattle led, 52-47, at the half but Charlotte came within 61-58 at 6:18 of the third. Charlotte then seized control with a 30-21 third quarter, and led by as many as 19 points in the fourth.

Jason Richardson scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half.

Emeka Okafor had 12 points and 15 rebounds, while Raymond Felton added 13 points and 12 assists for the Bobcats (5-4) -- who are above .500 at their latest point in a season in franchise history.

Seattle was led by Chris Wilcox's 24 points and nine rebounds. Damien Wilkins had 19 points, seven rebounds and two steals, while rookie forward Kevin Durant scored 16 points for the Sonics -- who were limited to 31 percent shooting, and had a modest two-game winning streak broken.
