NHL: Minnesota 4, Edmonton 2

EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Eric Belanger assisted on all of Minnesota's goals and Josh Harding made a big relief appearance Thursday night, as the Wild defeated Edmonton, 4-2.

Niklas Backstrom started in goal for Minnesota and was removed after two periods, after allowing two goals on 26 shots. Harding came in and stopped all 14 shots he faced.

Kurtis Foster scored the game-winning goal on the power play late in the second period. Mark Parrish, Martin Skoula and Marian Gaborik also scored for Minnesota, which had lost its previous two games.

Edmonton lost for the fifth time in seven games.
