COL BKB: Providence 67, Arkansas 51

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Brian McKenzie keyed an early second-half run Friday night, sending Providence to a 67-51 victory over No. 18 Arkansas at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Classic.

Providence moved into Sunday's title game, where the Friars (2-0) will meet Miami.

McKenzie scored 18 points and Geoff McDermott added 15.

Arkansas (2-1) was led by Patrick Beverley with 14 points and Darian Townes with 11.

Providence held a 32-28 advantage at halftime and then started the second period with an 11-3 run. McKenzie finished off the surge with a three-pointer.

The Razorbacks came no closer than eight points the rest of the way. Arkansas struggled against Providence's defense, turning the ball over 32 times.
