COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Rick Nash, Jason Chimera and Sergei Fedorov had two-point games Wednesday as Columbus defeated Chicago 4-2.
Columbus halted a four-game losing streak with Pascal Leclaire having to make only 16 saves.
Duncan Keith and Dustin Byfuglien scored for the Blackhawks, who had won their previous three games. Patrick Lalime gave up four goals on 21 shots.
The Blue Jackets scored two unanswered goals in the second period for a 3-1 lead. One minute into the period, Nash dropped a pass to Adam Foote, who fired a quick wrist shot that was deflected by Federov past Lalime.
Then, at the 9:58 mark, Chimera backhanded the puck from the left circle to Dan Fritsche, who whipped a shot from the slot past the stick-side of Lalime.
Chimera's goal with 10:11 remaining in the third made it 4-1.
Columbus had only one power-play opportunity all night. The Blue Jackets have won five of their last eight meetings with Chicago.
