COL BKB: Tennessee 101, Ark.-Mont. 44

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Tyler Smith scored 15 points Wednesday, one of five players to reach double figures in Tennessee's 101-44 rout of Arkansas-Monticello.

The seventh-ranked Volunteers advanced past the first round of the Legends Classic with 14 players getting into the scoring column.

JaJuan Smith, Wayne Chism, Ramar Smith and Jordan Howell also reached double figures in boosting Tennessee to its second win in as many starts.

Deron Brown scored 11 for the Boll Weevils, who play in Division II.

Tennessee enjoyed an early 18-3 run for a 20-5 lead with 14:34 to go in the first half. Smith scored seven points during that surge.

The Volunteers led 45-25 at halftime.
