NHL: New Jersey 3, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Patrik Elias scored the deciding goal Monday, lifting the New Jersey Devils past the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2.

Zach Parise scored the 50th goal of his career and also had an assist for the Devils, who had lost three of four before Monday. Travis Zajac New Jersey's other goal and Kevin Weekes made 23 saves.

Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin each had a goal for Pittsburgh, which has lost four in a row and six of its last seven games. Dany Sabourin blocked 18 shots in a losing effort.

The Penguins trailed 2-0 to tie the score before Elias, who also had an assist, got his goal.
