NHL: Nashville 4, Columbus 3 (SO)

NASHVILLE, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Martin Erat scored the lone goal of the shootout Saturday night, as the Nashville Predators beat Columbus, 4-3.

The score was tied, 3-3, after regulation, as Nashville's Radek Bonk, Marek Zidlicky (power play) and Jordin Tootoo all scored once -- and were matched by Columbus' Curtis Glencross, Manny Malhotra (power play) and Sergei Fedorov (unassisted).

Goalie Chris Mason stopped 36-of-39 shots for the Predators, who have won four of their last five contests.

Fredrik Norrena made 24 saves on 27 shots in regulation and Pascal Leclaire stopped two shots in the shootout for the Blue Jackets, who have dropped three in a row and four of their last five.

On the power play, Nashville was 2-for-9, and Columbus went 1-for-7 in the penalty-filled game.
