MIAMI, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Jameel Sewell completed 20-of-25 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown, and ran for another Saturday night, as 21st-ranked Virginia beat Miami (Fla.), 48-0.

In the final game at the Orange Bowl, Mikell Simpson rushed 22 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns for the Cavaliers (9-2, 6-1 ACC), who got their first win in 16 games against Florida teams.

Miami's Kyle Wright passed for just 94 yards on 9-of-21 completions, including three interceptions for the Hurricanes (5-5, 2-4), who have lost four of their last five games.

The Hurricanes closed out their Orange Bowl tenure with their worst shutout loss in the stadium's history. Miami's previous worst defeat at home was a 44-0 loss to Notre Dame in 1973.

The Hurricanes will play their final two games on the road, and start playing at Dolphin Stadium next season.
