COL BKB: Stanford 111, Harvard 56

PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Drew Shiller made five of six three-point attempts and scored 21 points Friday night in boosting No. 21 Stanford to a 111-56 crushing of Harvard.

The setback, coming as part of the Basketball Travelers Classic, ruined the coaching debut at Harvard for Tommy Amaker. The former Seton Hall and Michigan coach was hired by Harvard in hopes of bringing the school its first Ivy League title.

Stanford's hopes for a big season were lessened by the recent suspension of center Brook Lopez. The Cardinal, however, had no trouble in its opener -- hitting 66 percent of its attempts from the field.

Anthony Goods added 16 points for Stanford, which had 11 players produce points.

Evan Harris led Harvard with 14.
