CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Brendan Morrison touched off Vancouver's three-goal second period Thursday night and the Canucks held on to defeat Calgary, 3-2.
The Flames lost their fourth straight. Vancouver has won six of its eight road games this season, while losing six of seven at home.

Morrison scored on the power play 2:32 into the second, after which Byron Ritchie and Alexandre Burrows boosted the Canucks' lead to 3-0.
Calgary took 21 of its 35 shots in the third period and two of them -- from Kristian Huselius and Owen Nolan -- got past Roberto Luongo. Huselius has eight goals this season.
