NHL: Pittsburgh 5, New Jersey 0

NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Dany Sabourin made 20 saves Monday while posting the first shutout of his career as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the New Jersey Devils 5-0.

Sidney Crosby scored twice and Petr Sykora had a goal and an assist for Pittsburgh. Maxime Talbot and Brooks Orpik each had assists.

Martin Brodeur allowed five goals on 24 shots for New Jersey before leaving the contest with 16:32 remaining in the third period. Kevin Weekes stopped all six shots he faced for the Devils, who are 2-4-2 in their last eight contests.

Pittsburgh has scored at least one power-play goal in all 14 games this season, tying the longest streak in team history to start a season set in 1988-89.
