"It's nice to be back in the winner's circle again," Ames said after his third PGA Tour win.
The win was worth $828,000.
Clark has earned the most career money without a win on the PGA Tour.
Scott Verplank (71) joined Robert Gamez (68) and Tag Ridings (70) in third place at 14-under 274.
Verplank’s chances were spoiled by bogeys on two of the last three holes.
