NHL: Columbus 3, St. Louis 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Pascal Leclaire recorded his fifth shutout of the season and the sixth of his career Sunday afternoon, to help the Columbus Blue Jackets beat St. Louis, 3-0.

The only goal Leclaire needed came on Manny Malhotra's second score of the season at 15:41 of the first period. Rick Nash scored his NHL-leading 10th goal at 18:09 of the second, and Jason Chimera scored his fourth at 12:36 of the third, after assists by Malhotra and Jan Hejda.

Leclaire stopped 21 shots, as the Blue Jackets won for the fifth time in their last six games.

They have won four straight against St. Louis.

Leclaire's counterpart, Hannu Toivonen, was beaten three times on 25 Columbus shots for the Blues, who have dropped two in a row and three of four.

In man-advantage situations, both teams went 0-for-4.
