Rams guard lost to knee injury

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- St. Louis Rams guard Richie Incognito is expected to miss the remainder of the season because of a dislocated right kneecap.

"Richie Incognito got back the results of his MRI and it showed that he had a subluxation of his knee cap which is basically a partial dislocation of his right knee cap," Rams Coach Scott Linehan said. "It will require surgery. The outlook doesn't look that promising for this season, but we haven't ruled it out yet."

Incognito's injury occurred in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

The Rams, at 0-8, are off to their worst start in franchise history.

Rams running back Steven Jackson, who missed the previous four games with a partially torn groin, left Sunday's contest with tightness in his lower back. Quarterback Marc Bulger has a bruised throwing hand, but X-rays showed no break.
