LONDON, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Quarterback Eli Manning scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter Sunday to help the New York Giants top Miami, 13-10, in London.
The contest -- played at Wembley Stadium -- was the first NFL game played outside North America. Rainy and cool weather conditions made for a slippery football and neither team was effective on offense.
Manning completed 8-of-22 passes for 59 yards. He scored the Giants' lone touchdown on a scramble when all his receivers were well covered by Miami's secondary.
Running back Brandon Jacobs rushed for 131 yards on 23 carries, and kicker Lawrence Tynes booted two field goals, as the Giants extended their winning streak to six games.
Miami's Cleo Lemon threw for one touchdown and completed 17-of-30 passes for 149 yards.
Jesse Chatman ran for 79 yards on 16 carries and caught three passes for 21 yards for the winless Dolphins, who have lost 11 in a row dating back to last season.
