MADISON, Wis., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Backup running back Lance Smith-Williams ran for two touchdowns Saturday afternoon, as No. 25 Wisconsin trounced Indiana, 33-3.
Smith-Williams replaced starter P.J. Hill, who suffered a lower right leg injury in the second quarter. He finished with 79 yards on 15 carries.
Quarterback Tyler Donovan completed 12-of-21 passes for 144 yards, with a fumble and an interception, and Hill ran for a 1-yard touchdown before departing, as the Badgers (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) won their second straight game to become bowl eligible for the sixth straight season.
Indiana's only points came on a 49-yard field goal by Austin Starr in the second quarter.
Quarterback Kellen Lewis, the leader of Indiana's high-powered offense, completed just 17-of-33 passes for 113 yards and two interceptions.
Running back Marcus Thigpen rushed for 70 yards on 11 carries for the Hoosiers (5-4, 2-4), who suffered their third straight loss.
The Badgers lead the all-time series, 34-18-2.
