LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Henrik Zetterberg had a goal and two assists Sunday night to help the Detroit Red Wings beat Los Angeles, 4-1.
Zetterberg's first assist came early in the second period on a tally by Pavel Datsyuk. Kris Draper scored a short-handed, un-assisted goal three minutes later to give Detroit a 2-0 lead.
Detroit scored twice in the third, helped out by Zetterberg's goal and second assist.
Tomas Holmstrom scored once, and goalie Chris Osgood stopped 27-of-28 Los Angeles shots, as the Red Wings won for the third time in their last four games.
Michael Cammalleri scored for Los Angeles at 1:44 of the third.
Goaltender Jonathan Bernier was beaten four times on 30 Detroit shots for the Kings, who have lost five in a row.
On the power play, Los Angeles went 1-for-5, while the Red Wings did not score on two chances.
