NFL: Jacksonville 37, Houston 17

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- David Garrard threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, guiding Jacksonville Jaguars to a 37-17 victory over the Houston Texans.

Maurice Jones-Drew also finished with 184 yards rushing with two touchdowns on 12 carries. He also caught four passes for a team-high 59 yards.

Garrard went 22-of-34 for Jacksonville (4-1), which hasn’t lost since the season opener against Tennessee.

For the Texans, quarterback Matt Schaub completed 19 of 31 passes for 259 yards.

Kevin Walter caught 12 passes for 160 yards for Houston (2-4), which has lost three out of its last four games.
